Тhe theme of the SS’19 collection is collected from various fragments of artistic meanings, and is named after the TATE Modern gallery in London.
The collection borrowed elements of creativity of one of the gallery’s residents – American neoconceptual artist Jenny Holzer. One of the main goals of her work is the projection of ideas into public spaces.
Tate reflects the idea of man as a collective projection of his experiences, a personal collection of images and truths, tastes, words, a collection of memories and stories. Everyone attaches great importance to the word: we speak out, we want to be heard. We ourselves create the reality around us, and store it inside, like a museum that stores works of art.
The hero of this collection came out of Tate, and wanders through the streets of Liverpool. Typical weather: damp, foggy and windy. He wraps himself in a cloak, flickering between the orange columns of Albert Dock. He sees the inscription on the wall: “YOU MUST HAVE ONE GRAND PASSION”
